This is an all risks” policy which covers loss or damage to the insured item due to the occurrence of a fire, theft or by accidental means while in or on or being loaded or unloaded from any road vehicle , train or while temporarily being housed in the course of transit .

Coverage for loss or damage to merchandise and goods related to the Insured’s business, whether owned by the Insured or held in trust or on commission, and for which the Insured is responsible, while being transported by any conveyance listed in the schedule within Kenya. This coverage applies from the moment the Insured’s employees begin loading the merchandise and goods until they are unloaded and placed at the final destination, including both loading and unloading activities.
